Michael Hartke

Michael Hartke serves as President, Endeavor Health Northwest Community Hospital (NCH) where he partners with other members of the system’s Executive Leadership Team to help drive NCH, regional and system strategies. Hartke also leads the Endeavor Health Rehabilitation service line and serves as the executive sponsor of the Endeavor Health Neurosciences Institute. Throughout his tenure with NCH and Endeavor Health, Hartke’s focus on strong relationships, communication and community connection have proven essential in driving growth and success. 

Hartke joined NCH from Affinity Health Care in 2010 as Executive Vice President and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2013, a position he held for 10 years before beginning his role as President of NCH in January 2023. Prior to Affinity, he was Executive Director at Greater Northwest Medical Group where he led expansion and merger and acquisition strategy, growing the medical group to an adult and multi-specialty practice.

Hartke received a Master of Business Administration degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biological science from Northern Illinois University where he played basketball and also met his wife. Hartke enjoys spending time with his family.
