Your impact through the Edward Foundation
Healthcare philanthropy plays a major role in advancing hospitals’ capacity to care for patients. Edward Foundation has partnered with individuals, businesses, grant making organizations and others to secure more than $61 million in voluntary support to benefit Edward Hospital.
These gifts have funded significant improvements over the years that directly benefit patients and your colleagues. Most recently, these include:
- Hercules beds – patient repositioning system
- $750,000 in scholarships in the last 10 years for nurses and student volunteers
- EMS manikins in the simulation lab training facility
- Tobacco cessation training for cardiac nurses
- Litegate supported gait therapy device for rehabilitating neurology patients
- Sensory tools to calm and distract pediatric ER patients
Employee contributions are an especially important and valuable component of the foundation’s fundraising efforts, sending a powerful message of support and shared commitment to the health of the community.
Your gift of any size is a catalyst – it inspires those outside the hospital and signals that we all share a goal of optimal clinical outcomes for patients here. We’re proud to partner with you to advance your work with patients here at Edward Hospital, Linden Oaks Hospital and the many other points of care that Edward Foundation supports.
