Jonathan Lind serves as President of Endeavor Health Swedish Hospital. With a career spanning over 27 years in hospital administration, he brings deep operational expertise and institutional knowledge to his current role.
Lind is deeply committed to ensuring that Swedish Hospital, as a vital part of the Endeavor Health system and a neighborhood institution, continues to serve as a vital healthcare resource for the diverse communities it supports. He is a champion for culturally responsive care and has expanded access to services for underrepresented populations. His thoughtful, mission-driven leadership continues to inspire trust among colleagues and community members alike.
Lind joined Swedish Hospital in 1999, serving as the Executive Director of the Galter Life Center. He made the transition to operations at Swedish Hospital in 2006, eventually serving as Chief Operating Officer, where he helped modernize care delivery systems, streamline hospital workflows and lead major capital projects. His strategic oversight contributed to the expansion of specialty services at Swedish Hospital and the adoption of advanced technologies initiatives that have improved both patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, a Board Member of the Vizient Upper Midwest region, CAPTIS Board member and an active member of the Safety Net Hospital Association of Illinois.
Lind earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Dartmouth College and received an MBA with a concentration in finance and economics from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
Lind and his wife, Jill, are the proud parents of two adult children and a very active year-old golden retriever!
