The doctor was kind and seemed very knowledgeable, but her approach felt a bit rigid and old-school. She made some assumptions that didn't really apply to me and often responded in a cut-and-dry way rather than having a conversation. For example, when I mentioned that I spend a lot of time outside and preferred not to take a vitamin D supplement, she immediately said I should be wearing sunscreen to prevent skin cancer and therefore wouldn't get enough vitamin D without supplements. There was no follow-up question, no discussion-just a flat response without exploring my perspective or preferences. It felt more like being talked at than talked with.Lastly, I got some test results back showing one of my levels was high-something that runs in my family. Instead of asking more questions or digging deeper, she just assumed it was because I'm a little overweight. She didn't consider that it might be hereditary, especially since several of my family members have the same issue and none of them are overweight.To be clear, she wasn't a bad doctor-just not the best fit for me. I completely understand that a doctor's job is to prioritize health, but without an individualized approach that considers the patient's unique background and input, it's hard for me to feel truly supported in my care."

I feel like she does not remember me visit-to-visit, despite seeing her monthly. She provides contradictory information, and seems scattered often. I think the practice schedules her appointments too close together, she is always in a rush to get to her next patient and my concerns are frequently not heard. She interrupts and talks over me a lot. Each time I see her, she obviously has not reviewed my chart or notes from my last visit, or even the "reason for your visit today" notes taken during scheduling and by the staff when I am brought back. It's very disappointing.

Unprepared for my visit. Did not follow up with previous problem of knee injury and physical therapy. Did not have my eye physician information when I had given it to her previously. She forgot to write me a prescription for my high blood pressure that she mentioned during the visit and I had to remind her through email that she failed to give it to me.

Meeting with provider felt rushed and impersonal. Questions asked were not clearly relevant to purpose of visit and provider recommendations were generic, not individualized and offered no useful guidance to be applicable to the individual patient. Provider was treating a chart not a person.
