About Kshama Shah, MD
Kshama Shah, MD, a neonatologist at Endeavor Health, provides critical care for newborns who are born prematurely or face health complications after birth. She partners with families during NICU stays, guiding them through the emotional and medical challenges of their infant’s earliest days. Dr. Shah is committed to equitable outcomes and brings public health insight to her practice, with research interests in regionalized care and quality improvement.
My endeavor
My endeavor is to support infants and their families in the infant special care unit and early postpartum period, promoting equitable outcomes for every child.
Care philosophy
Our babies can’t speak for themselves, so I work with the full care team—families, nurses, respiratory therapists and others—to understand their needs and determine the best next steps. It’s a collaborative effort focused on supporting each infant’s health and progress.
