About Nirav Shah, MD
Nirav Shah, MD, an infectious disease physician at Endeavor Health, treats hospitalized patients with infections while leading systemwide innovation and research initiatives. In addition to his clinical role, he serves on Endeavor Health’s innovation and informatics teams and conducts NIH-funded research in AI, population health and digital health tools. Dr. Shah helps bring new therapies and technologies to patients while improving care delivery at both the individual and population levels.

My endeavor is to keep learning and growing so I can bring innovation to patient care and help improve how we deliver care across the health system.
Care philosophy
I primarily care for patients when they’re hospitalized and at their most vulnerable. I make sure they understand what’s happening, communicate openly and create space for questions. I also try to bring lightness when appropriate—it’s an important part of healing.
