My endeavor is to provide evidence-based, unbiased, comprehensive reproductive healthcare to any person with a uterus, working together to face their unique challenges.
My job is to share information in an understandable way so that your body is less of a mystery. I practice trauma-informed care and shared decision-making, recognizing that you are the expert in your life and your body. My role is to help you understand what evidence-based medicine can offer and create a plan that works best for you. My practice is also grounded in SisterSong’s framework of reproductive justice, the human right to bodily autonomy and access to the resources needed to choose if, when and how to safely and sustainably parent.
Isa Ryan, MD, an obstetrician gynecologist at Endeavor Health, provides comprehensive, trauma-informed care for people with a uterus at all stages of life. Fellowship-trained in complex family planning, she specializes in contraception, reproductive counseling and abortion care. Dr. Ryan works with patients of all backgrounds, including adolescents, individuals with complex medical conditions and transgender patients, to deliver inclusive, evidence-based care. She is also passionate about medical education and empowering the next generation of clinicians to provide non-biased, compassionate reproductive healthcare.
