My endeavor is to help patients live well.
Palliative care is about living well and comfortably. My goal is to treat the whole person by addressing physical, emotional, psychosocial and spiritual needs that affect quality of life. I take a comprehensive approach to managing symptoms and guiding care that supports comfort, dignity and meaning at every stage of illness.
Thomas Pathiyil, DO, a hospice and palliative medicine physician at Endeavor Health, specializes in improving quality of life for patients with serious illnesses. He focuses on managing pain and other symptoms related to disease, offering emotional, psychological and spiritual support for patients and their families.
