My philosophy is to combine compassion with clinical knowledge. I focus on treating the person, not just the condition, and create a confidential space where patients feel heard, respected and safe. I remind them that we work as a team-there's no magic medicine, but there is meaningful healing in partnership.
Ghassan Aldurra, MD, a psychiatrist at Endeavor Health and chair of the psychiatry department at Elmhurst Hospital, has served the community for over 20 years. He combines clinical expertise with deep compassion to treat each patient as an individual-not just a diagnosis. Dr. Aldurra works with a multidisciplinary team to provide care in a safe, respectful and collaborative environment where patients feel supported and understood.
