My endeavor is to reassure my patients and let them know that we are in this together.
When I meet a patient, I want to understand what brought them to my office, what they have experienced in the past and what concerns them most. I believe the more I listen, the better care I can provide. Many patients come in with fear or anxiety, often from experiences earlier in life. I want them to know we are in this together and that there are many ways to manage that anxiety. Seeing patients leave treatment feeling relieved and confident is an important part of why I do this work.
Jeffrey Chandler, DDS, MD, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon at Endeavor Health, provides outpatient and hospital-based surgical care for conditions affecting the teeth, mouth and jaws. His clinical work includes treatment of facial trauma, benign pathology, wisdom teeth removal and dental implants. Dr. Chandler’s training in both dentistry and medicine informs a comprehensive surgical approach. His practice focuses on understanding the factors that bring patients to care, particularly when anxiety or past experiences have delayed treatment.
