I use cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy and motivational interviewing to assist clients in identifying their strengths, setting goals and finding self-empowerment through counseling. My approach is client-centered, creating a safe and trusting therapeutic environment.
Susan K. Mangano, APN-CNP, an advanced practice clinician specializing in psychiatry at Endeavor Health, brings more than 26 years of nursing experience to her role. She earned her doctorate in mental health advanced practice psychiatric nursing from Rush University and holds a Master of Science in clinical psychology from Benedictine University. Susan has served as a practitioner, teacher, consultant and leader throughout her career and is an active member of the American Psychiatric Nursing Association.
