My endeavor is to advance the field of orthopedic surgery through education and research, with the goal of having a broad impact on patient care across the specialty.
I have a conservative approach to patient care. Whenever possible, I recommend nonoperative management first. I only recommend surgery in cases where nonoperative management has failed or when avoiding surgery could lead to further harm. I take the time to listen to my patients, understand their concerns and work to address them in every way possible.
Hayden Baker, MD, an orthopaedic surgeon at Endeavor Health, specializes in sports medicine with expertise in arthroscopic procedures that are minimally invasive, including hip, knee and shoulder surgeries. He also performs open shoulder procedures such as shoulder replacements. As a former collegiate athlete, Dr. Baker understands the importance of returning to activity and aims to help patients get back to the things they love through thoughtful, evidence-based care.
