Planning your visit
Our in-hospital dining options offer a full range of meal and beverage choices throughout the day. We have a large food court, café and bakery and various smaller food and beverage stations throughout our campus.
If you’re currently a patient, you also have the option of placing a room service order through our Treat Yourself program.
Perfect Brew & Bakery
Perfect Brew & Bakery is located near the entrance to the North Pavilion, close to the Busse Center for Specialty Medicine. The friendly staff serves breakfast and lunch in a relaxing, comfortable environment, Monday-Friday: 7 a.m.-3 p.m.

The Oasis Food Court
Centrally located on the first floor of the hospital, the Oasis Food Court is a full-service facility that offers hot and cold meals—including soups, salads, deli sandwiches, pizza, burgers and hot entrees—at various stations. It is open daily, Monday–Friday: 6:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m., and weekends and holidays: 7 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
Treat Yourself room service
To place an order, just dial ext. 3663 (FOOD) on your bedside phone, 6:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Please allow up to 45 minutes for your food to be delivered. Assistance is available if you need help setting up a bedside table or opening containers.

Patient dining reminders
- Special orders: Remember that some foods may need to be modified or restricted if your physician has prescribed a special diet, or if you are undergoing certain tests
- Please order only the food you plan to eat, so accurate calorie and carb counts can be monitored
- For our patients with diabetes, please notify the nursing staff when ordering each meal, so we can best help you manage your diabetes
- Please have your food selections ready when calling extension 3663 to place your order
Parking
Several parking garages and parking lots are available for your convenience. We also offer complimentary valet parking for patients and visitors.

In order to better meet the needs of our outpatients and visitors, we provide complimentary valet parking at our Main Entrance.

Care Carts
These carts move patients and visitors between the Busse Center, Day Surgery Center, South Pavilion, North Pavilion and all points in between (including Radiation Oncology and the Ambulatory Infusion Clinic). To request Care Cart service upon your arrival to the hospital campus, please speak with a guest services volunteer or hospital staff member at the information desks located at each entrance.

The 800 Shop
These gifts are sure to brighten the day of a friend or loved one. Purchases are delivered to hospital patients and employees by our volunteers seven days a week (excluding holidays). Orders placed after 4:00 pm or on holidays may not be delivered until the following day. Floral arrangements vary by availability.
The 800 Shop is located at the main entrance. Stop in to see our large selection of seasonal décor, jewelry, clothing, “new baby” gifts and more.

Northwest Community Healthcare Pharmacy is a full-service retail pharmacy open to the community.
It is conveniently located on the Northwest Community Hospital campus in Arlington Heights in Busse Center lobby, a short walk from the Emergency Department, the Day Surgery Center and physician offices.
We understand that during times of crisis, spiritual care can play a major role in providing you and your family with the best possible support. For this reason, we offer a number of services to assist in your spiritual well-being.
At NCH we realize life can be challenging. We understand that not everyone has a religious affiliation, but many people are spiritual. The Spiritual Care Team at NCH strives to provide holistic and compassionate spiritual care for healing. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, we address the emotional and spiritual needs of patients, families and NCH staff.

Professional chaplain services
Our chaplains are always available to reach across faith group boundaries to meet your needs. They’re available immediately or on call at any time you need them. All of our chaplains hold master’s degrees and are trained in clinical pastoral education (CPE). They have the empathy, the experience and the compassion to help you:
- Maintain hope and uphold human dignity
- Re-evaluate and clarify meaning and purpose
- Access spiritual resources and identify spiritual needs
- Address questions of meaning in the face of illness and chronic suffering
- Make decisions in respect to creating advance directives, do not resuscitate (DNR) and withdrawal of life support options

Sacramental ministry
Roman Catholic Eucharistic Ministers offer communion 10:00 am–12:00 pm each day, except non-religious holidays
A Roman Catholic priest is on call to address other sacramental needs on a daily basis
Communion available to non-Catholics upon request
Baptism for infants and children of all Christian faiths available when there is an immediate danger to the life of the child
Space for prayer and contemplation
The Chapel on 3 West provides a quiet place for reflection and prayer at all times. There are also two outdoor spaces as well. The Renew Through Sharing Memorial Garden is a peaceful and quiet place for families to reflect on the loss of a loved one and the Cancer Services meditation garden offers a spot of serenity near the main entrance to the hospital.
You have access to interpretation services 24/7 at no personal cost to you.
If your loved one is admitted to the hospital, you may drop off belongings for them that will be delivered to their room.
