Evanston, Ill. – Endeavor Health℠ is now accepting applications for its 2026 Community Investment Fund (CIF) Impact Awards. These new awards are designed to support collaborative, 5-year initiatives that drive measurable, long-term change in the communities we serve. Since its launch in 2022, the CIF has invested over $30 million in community organizations, creating or supporting over 440 jobs and benefiting more than 500,000 lives across Chicagoland.
Endeavor Health launched the Impact Awards to strengthen the network of community-based organizations and resources in Chicago and surrounding areas, in recognition that solving complex health challenges requires collaborative, multi-faceted approaches.
Each Impact Award will provide approximately $1 million per year for 5 years, focusing on initiatives that improve existing systems and foster innovation through cross-sector partnerships. Projects should address the needs of the most vulnerable community members and align with the CIF's goals. Letters of Intent will be accepted online from April 28–May 30, 2025 for funding beginning in 2026.
The Community Investment Fund also offers Capacity Builder Awards, designed for distinct 1-2-year projects that build and strengthen skills, resources, and infrastructure of community-based organizations. Award amounts range from $100,000 to $500,000 per year, for up to 2 years. Applications for the Capacity Builder Awards will be accepted from July 28–Aug. 22, 2025 for funding beginning in 2026.
Past Endeavor Health CIF awards have enabled partnerships to have a tremendous impact in their local communities. In partnership with the CIF, Indian Prairie School District 204 has brought mental health services directly to students and families, providing more than 3,300 counseling sessions for students. The CIF also supports Rosalind Franklin University’s mobile clinic, which travels to different communities to provide health screenings, vaccinations, and other services.
