EVANSTON, Ill. – Endeavor Health℠ has released information about the 2027 Community Investment Fund (CIF) awards and application process, and is now accepting applications for its 2027 CIF Impact Award. Since its launch in 2022, the CIF has invested more than $38.5 million in community organizations, creating or supporting more than 730 jobs and benefiting more than 1 million lives across Chicagoland.

The 2027 Endeavor Health Impact Award will provide $1 million a year for five years to support an initiative which will:

Letters of Intent will be accepted online from Apr. 27–May 29, 2026 for funding beginning in 2027.

Loaves & Fishes Community Services was the inaugural recipient of the Endeavor Health CIF Impact Award in 2026. The organization is using its $5 million award over five years to expand infrastructure, grow partnerships and reduce logistical barriers to improve access to fresh, healthy foods for Chicagoland residents.

The CIF will also offer Capacity Builder Awards, designed for projects of one or two years that build capacity and strengthen skills, resources and infrastructure of community-based organizations. Award amounts range from $100,000 to $500,000 per year, for up to two years. Applications for 2027 CIF Capacity Builder Awards will be accepted from July 27–Aug. 21, 2026 for funding beginning in 2027.

Past Endeavor Health CIF awards are enabling recipients to have a tremendous impact on their local communities. In partnership with the CIF, Stepping Stones is opening Will County’s first recovery home for women and their children, so moms can receive treatment they deserve to give them the best chance at long-term recovery from substance use disorder. The CIF also supports Shelter, Inc., which will soon open the first DCFS-licensed home dedicated to female youth survivors of commercial sexual exploitation.
