New partnership offers student-athletes free sports physicals, 24/7 medical concierge access, and direct path to specialized orthopedic care

Evanston, Ill. – Endeavor Health and Township High School District 211 are proud to announce a new partnership that will provide comprehensive sports medicine services, athletic training support, and healthcare resources to student-athletes across the district's five high schools: Fremd, Palatine, Hoffman Estates, Schaumburg, and Conant High Schools.

As part of the agreement, Endeavor Health will invest significant resources annually to provide eight certified athletic trainers dedicated to supporting the health, safety, and performance of District 211 student athletes. The athletic trainers will be responsible for injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and medical management while serving as an integral part of each school's athletic program.

Endeavor Health Sports Medicine is recognized as a leading provider of sports medicine and orthopedic care throughout the Chicagoland region. Through direct access to specialized physicians, athletic trainers, rehabilitation experts, and advanced treatment resources, student-athletes will benefit from a coordinated approach to care designed to support recovery, injury prevention, and long-term performance.

A key component of the partnership is access to Endeavor Health's Orthopaedic & Spine Institute, home to Illinois' only destination hospital dedicated exclusively to orthopedic and spine care, and performing the most ortho and spine surgeries of any hospital in Illinois. The health system supports nearly 30,000 inpatient discharges and outpatient procedures annually and ranks second in Illinois for overall orthopedic care volume.

Under the partnership, Endeavor Health will provide:

  • Eight dedicated certified athletic trainers serving District 211 high schools
  • Athletic training and team physician coverage for home practices and competitions for all IHSA-sponsored athletic teams
  • Away varsity football game coverage
  • On-site injury evaluation, treatment, and emergency medical decision-making
  • Team physician support at home football games and hosted postseason events
  • Access to same-day and expedited appointments with sports medicine specialists
  • Free pre-participation/sports physical examinations for District 211 student-athletes
  • CPR certification classes for District 211 coaches
  • Coordination of the IHSA wrestling weight management certification program
  • A dedicated 24/7 Sports Medicine Concierge Line for families, coaches, teachers, and athletes

The partnership also introduces a healthcare navigation service through Endeavor Health's Sports Medicine Concierge Program. Available around the clock, the service connects families with healthcare professionals who help coordinate care, facilitate expedited specialist appointments, and guide patients through the healthcare system.

Beyond athletic care, the partnership will expand opportunities to address broader student and community health needs. Future plans may include a comprehensive health needs assessment to help identify opportunities for enhanced services, including mental health support, among others.

The partnership will also include educational programming and community outreach efforts, such as parent education seminars, behavioral health presentations, healthcare career pathway sessions, and ongoing communication resources for families.

District 211 will support the partnership by featuring Endeavor Health in athletic venue signage, digital communications, and parent resources, helping ensure families are aware of the care coordination and services available to them.

Together, District 211 and Endeavor Health are establishing a comprehensive model for student-athlete care that combines medical excellence, community engagement, and proactive wellness support to help students thrive both on and off the field.
