Evanston, Ill. – Five Endeavor Health hospitals have been recognized among the top-performing in Illinois, and the nation, for delivering safe, high-value care, according to the newly released 2025–26 Lown Institute Hospitals Index for Social Responsibility.
This recognition affirms Endeavor Health’s commitment to providing high-quality, safe and socially responsible care that prioritizes both patient well-being and value.
“What makes this recognition and these results so meaningful is that they reflect how our team members are there for our patients every day,” said Sean O’Grady, President of Endeavor Health’s Acute and Ambulatory Operations. “They consistently put people first, striving for excellence and never compromising on the things that truly matter — outcomes, experience and trust.”
The Lown Institute Hospitals Index for Social Responsibility ranks over 3,600 hospitals and 300 health systems based on 53 publicly reported metrics. These metrics span key areas including social responsibility, value of care and patient outcomes, providing a data-driven perspective on hospital performance.

- Edward Hospital and Elmhurst Hospital earned top grades in Patient Safety, Clinical Outcomes and Cost Efficiency.
