PALATINE, Ill. – Endeavor HealthSM today opened a new outpatient behavioral health center in at 500 N. Hicks Rd. in Palatine, making it easier for adults and adolescents in the northwest suburbs to access care. This expansion is part of a broader effort to strengthen behavioral health services across the system, including integrating care into primary settings, growing the provider workforce by 30%, enhancing crisis response, and supporting local organizations through Community Investment Fund awards.

The new location expands services previously offered at the outpatient behavioral health center on the Northwest Community Hospital campus, increasing capacity for therapy, intensive programs and psychiatric care while adding new treatment options.

“This is a significant investment in the behavioral health and well-being of the communities we serve,” said Gina Sharp, president of Endeavor Health Linden Oaks Hospital and system executive of Endeavor Health’s behavioral health service line. “We’re expanding access to care, strengthening our programs and making it easier for patients to get the level of support they need in one location.”

The new facility includes:

  • Greater capacity for Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), growing from 35 to 50 patients
  • Growth of outpatient clinic space from 11 to 19 rooms
  • Increased staffing, with plans to add eight new clinical therapists and six new advanced practice providers
  • Introduction of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), a noninvasive treatment for depression, OCD and smoking cessation

The Palatine center serves adults 18 and older and adolescents ages 12 and up, providing care for conditions including depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, mood disorders and trauma-related conditions.

All services are offered in one location, including evaluations, PHP and IOP programs, outpatient therapy, medication management and TMS. Patients can move between levels of care without changing locations or losing continuity with their care team.
