I absolutely ADORE Dr.Schaefer. My only negative is that I wasn't referred to her sooner. She is likely the kindest Dr. I have ever had and I can truly tell through our conversation that she CARES. Not only about why I'm there but that she cares about me as a person. I truly feel she gives recommendations and care from a wholistic approach and doesn't just focus on one thing. She looks at the bigger picture and works to find the best solutions that will help me be the healthiest I can be. I feel I am truly listened to and that my opinions & input about my care matter and have weight and that we make decisions about what's best for me TOGETHER. I have never felt so seen/heard by a medical professional. I wish I had the experiences I have had with her with every Dr. Because it truly makes all the difference. Thank you Dr. Schaefer for being the person to make a difference for me and make me believe my healthcare goals are/were possible and not making me feel alone in it or like I was just the numbers on my chart.

Christina is a fantastic provider, she is so generous with her time and so tenacious in getting me the meds I need to maintain and improve my health. Christina is the only provider that was able to get me the weight loss/diabetic meds I need and get my insurance to cover it. My other doctors are amazed at what Christina has been able to accomplish. Because of her efforts I now have my Ozempic with a $25/copay instead of paying $500/out of pocket. We are so grateful and our budget is much better too.

She thinks outside the box on the best ways for me continue treatment realizing my finances are limited. This may have been the best visit I ever had with a healthcare provider. Christina was warm and personable and made me and my wife feel relaxed and free to talk openly about the issue of weight loss and management. It was very educational as well and we left the office extremely optimistic and positive that we had come to the right place to find answers. Christina also is willing to work with my endocrinologist and my cardiologist to find medications that will not only benefit my goals but possibly be covered by insurance as our budget just won't handle expensive meds long term.
