About Christopher Olson, MD
Christopher Olson, MD, a gynecologic surgeon and obstetrician at Endeavor Health, has served the Edward Hospital community since 1994. He has pioneered innovations in surgical techniques, including laparoscopic and robotic hysterectomies, and was among the first to implement office-based procedures in Illinois. Dr. Olson integrates decades of experience with a patient-focused approach, emphasizing careful listening and a commitment to delivering thoughtful, individualized care.

My endeavor is to strive to remember what brought me to medicine and continue doing what I love, especially as healthcare changes.
Care philosophy
My philosophy of patient care is to be patient-oriented. Listening carefully is essential—patients may not always say what’s wrong directly, so it’s my job to hear their concerns from all angles. As a male gynecologist, I also try to be especially understanding of what each woman needs.

I felt my concerns were validated and addressed. I spoke with a student doctor 1st and then the doctor. The doctor didn't ask much, but I am assuming it's because I spoke to the student and he shared my information.
