As this was my initial visit, Dr. Ortega was professionally welcoming and had a very reassuring manner. He explained things thoroughly and exhibited a sincere interest in my hearing concerns and clearly explained my test results, with follow up options and recommendations. A very positive experience.

I was a new patient. Doctor walked into the exam room and did not introduce himself before beginning the exam. I had to ask who he was. I think it is important for patients to know who is touching them and asking them questions.

Once the doctor came into the exam room, the care that I was provided was very swift. However, I was sitting in the exam room for over 30 minutes before the doctor came in. I actually had opened the door and stepped out into the hallway when he was heading towards my exam room. Would've appreciated someone popping their head in to let me know that I was not forgotten and that he was either running late or as he told me on the phone with the hospital.

Two visits so far, both of them had to wait more than an hour from the appointment time. First time thought it might be anomaly but second time sealed the deal. Liked the doctor and staff but wont be going back because of the experience.

The care I got from Dr Ortega was great. He confirmed I had a fungal ear infection, suctioned out my ear, and prescribed eardrops. So far, the problem seems to be resolved.
