I thoroughly respect and like Dr. Gan. However I waited 2.5 hours to be seen. I can understand an hour as he does take his time with all of us, but when I discovered that he was doubling up on patients so he could [...], I didn't understand. I was so late for my job I had to give up a half day vacation! Once I saw him he was apologetic and we had a good discussion but I still think things could run more smoothly for him and, us as patients.

Yes, I say "worked with", because he listens to all of my concerns and suggestions and we decide on the further care plan together. Dr. Gan is the best! He is caring, understanding, empathetic, and compassionate. He never makes any of my appointments with him feel rushed or anything I say feel unimportant. He always listens and makes sure I understand everything that is going on, including changes to my medications. He also always shows genuine concern for my pain and struggles with my fibromyalgia. He is extremely educated and informed in his field, but also isn't afraid to seek the opinion of his colleagues if it is in my best interest. Like speaking with my psychiatrist about changes in my fibromyalgia medications that could possibly affect the ones prescribed for my mood. I've seen a lot of doctors over the years concerning my various health issues, and I can honestly say that Dr. Gan is an unicorn in today's healthcare. He is truly special. An amazing doctor with the best and most sincere bedside manner. I have been going to him since 2017 and I feel very blessed and lucky to be one of his patients.
