Kathryn (Katie) Hegener, PA-C, a physician assistant specializing in hand surgery at Endeavor Health, helps patients recover from hand injuries and conditions that affect their daily lives. She supports patients through post-op and follow-up care, performs procedures and assists in surgery. Katie aims to ease patient anxiety and guide them back to the activities they love through compassionate and knowledgeable care.

My endeavor is that our patients are able to leave the office feeling better than when they came in.

I do everything I can to ease patient anxiety, answer their questions and make sure they leave feeling better and more comfortable than when they arrived. I want them to feel supported and confident that we’re working to get them back to doing the things they love.

Katie made sure I understood the limitations that needed to be respected, even after the sutures were (painlessly) removed. This was my 1st time seeing Katie. She was very thorough in her examination of my incisions and made sure to explain the reason for my extensive bruising and to reassure me that it was normal. She was quick and painless in removing my sutures and explained my limitations for the next few weeks.
