Laura Shu, MD, a family medicine physician at Endeavor Health, provides primary care for patients from infancy through older adulthood. Inspired by her own health journey and the care she received during infertility, Dr. Shu brings empathy and experience to every visit. The nurse that helped me, [...], asked me questions that were on the clipboard I had. Then the doctor came in and asked me the same questions. The doctor also was very chaotic and seemed rushed which did not put me at ease since this was a new patient appointment. I don't know if I will be willing to see the doctor again based on my care.

Dr Shu is wonderful! She is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain the condition and helps people understand what, if any, treatment is being provided. Also she remembers that her patients don't necessarily have a medical background and explains things plainly. When she finds a problem, she works to solve it immediately instead of requiring a follow up appointment, thus reducing the patient's anxiety level waiting for the next visit. She is truly a compassionate physician and quite an asset to your practice.

Dr. Shu is incredible! She was very efficient during the appointment, addressed all of my issues, answered all of my questions and never made me feel like she was trying to end the visit quickly. She prioritizes preventive medicine and is quick to check on potential issues. When she found a cyst on exam, she took it out right then and there and sent it to pathology! I really appreciate that she didn't make me schedule a second appointment and come back which would have lengthened the amount I had to worry and causes me to miss more work. I cannot recommend her more highly.

I don't know how she manages to perform at that level inside such a behemoth healthcare system that is so interested in numbers and timing metrics, but she does!Honestly, at this point I just want to make her proud of how well I take care of my health, and we are the same age 10/10 would strongly recommend.

During this appointment I had a couple concerns that it would have been easy for her to dismiss or ask me to come back for a separate appointment, but she really listened to me and helped me resolve things on the spot. I think she truly understands how difficult it can be for a patient to manage their primary care and does everything within reason to make things easier and more comfortable. Thank God for Dr. Shu bring proactive with my ingrown toenail. She ordered test as well. Results confirmed it needed to be removed. Other Dr would make you make another appointment even though you're in pain. She is so empathetic.

As a post-menopausal woman, exams can be very painful. Dr, Shu removed a polyp at my annual physical, so I did not have to come back and go through the painful experience again.
