Dr. Sato is exceptional never looks at the clock is willing to spend the time with you. Talk to you and hear what you're trying to tell her. Is willing to try new things if there's a problem and something didn't work and I'm always willing to work with her.

If the "care provider" refers to the doctor: Her approach is rather distant and business-like. This was only my second visit with her since my previous care provider retired. I was used to a much more thorough exam. I had to ask for several things to be performed during this annual checkup. She took the time to read over my file as we sat there, she answered my questions, she made sure I was current on other health checks, but an actual physical exam was basically non-existent.

By paying attention to detail, I felt like she cared about me. She questioned things that other providers added to my chart without blindly following them, which made me feel like she cared (some of the things in my chart are incorrect because other providers were rushing. I never corrected them because I just figured it wasn't worth it). She communicated her recommendations even if they were different from other providers. She acknowledged that there are different approaches, but clearly stated what hers were/are. The compassion, despite differences, and the kindness and thorough approach helped me feel cared for. When I feel listened to, it's easier to accept recommendations. Thank you.
