About Mehraboon Irani, MD
Mehraboon Irani, MD, a pathologist and medical director of the blood bank and transfusion service at Endeavor Health, specializes in transfusion medicine, compatibility testing and therapeutic procedures. He oversees antibody studies, stem cell and CAR-T cell collections, and re-infusions for complex treatments. Dr. Irani also sees patients for therapeutic phlebotomy and coagulation disorders. He is involved in patient care at multiple levels, aiming to reduce transfusions and improve outcomes through innovation and blood conservation.
