Michelle Albovias, MD, an obstetrician-gynecologist at Endeavor Health, provides comprehensive care to women from adolescence through menopause. You can ask her any question she's non-judgmental and answers you honestly She' is always smiling friendly makes you feel very welcome when you come into the office I would recommend her in a heartbeat. I met Dr. Albovias in 2019 while she was at Rush. I LOVED her professionalism so much that I followed her to Endeavor. She's been my health provider for the past 7 years and I trust her. I KNOW that she has my well being as a priority. She's the BEST!

The provider assumed I was unprepared for my appointment even though I had already researched/ decided I wanted a copper iud and had expressed it. She still went on to ramble about hormonal IUDs and how they made periods lighter. I then told her I didn't mind having my period so that wouldn't be something that I felt would make me choose a hormonal iud. She then finally said it lessened the chance of getting cervical cancer - why would she not lead with this information and then said it wasn't about me "liking" getting my period which I never said. I felt uncomfortable asking questions after she rambled about the greatness of hormonal IUDs. Would prefer to never see her again.

The nurse who saw before the doctor came in was very kind, however, I was very disappointed by the doctor's bedside manner. She asked what I needed from the visit in a very dry way. She proceeded to take notes on the computer for the duration of the visit and made minimal eye contact. I will not be seeing this doctor again and would not recommend others see her.

I experienced a miscarriage and was booked with Dr Albovias to discuss my options. I hoped and expected to be met with kindness and empathy, but Michelle went so beyond that. She made me feel informed, at ease, answered all my questions, and validated my feelings. To say I am grateful is an understatement- such a bright spot in an otherwise sad and upsetting situation.

Dr. Albovias was so kind and caring. She made me feel so comfortable and answered all questions. I am so grateful I found an amazing doctor. I have struggled with doctors being there and then going for a follow up and then finding out they are gone and no longer at that hospital. She insured me that wasn't going to happen with Elmhurst so I felt way more comfortable.
