My care provider asked me all the standard questions about my history. But at the end of our conversation, when I asked her about some new symptoms I was experiencing, I felt she was dismissive and/or uninformed about the condition. She did not seem empathetic to my condition. She also did not directly answer the questions I asked ("What does this mean, is this now how my life is?") - instead she answered related questions that did not fully pertain to my situation. She offered to run some tests to gather data but could not articulate what we would do with that data, should the results come back with a significant finding. If she didn't know what to do, she should have just said so.

Sarah is very compassionate. Knowledgeable clinician and very thorough. She was patient as I communicated my experience with the ER! She demonstrated empathy and understanding which are much needed attributes in health care these days. I very much appreciated her professionalism during my follow-up from the ER visit.
