This is the most efficient doctors appointment I have ever had in my life

I came in to the spinal care walk-in clinic at […] The receptionist was kind and spoke to the providers and got me in with Dr. Hudgins. I only had to wait about 15 minutes. Dr. Hudgins was helpful, though I did not ask as many questions as I might have with a schedule appointment - he prescribed steroids and PT and got x-rays, and asked that I follow up in one week. I had follow-up questions about the steroids, and the nurse responded. The x-rays revealed 2 vertebrae fractures, so the doctor asked me to get an MRI and bone scan, and to stop steroids. Throughout, Dr. Hudgins' nursing staff (especially […] ) were very helpful in reaching out, responding to my questions, and helping me connect to the MRI unit at Evanston Hospital.

I was advised that the provider required patients to be strictly on time, and if I were a minute late, I would need to reschedule the appointment. I was on time, but I had to wait for approximately 15 minutes or more to see the doctor. I completely understand, yet I think a five-minute running late exception is OK for clients.

My appointment and consultation with Dr. Hudgins was fantastic. My appointment was at 9am. I was in his office at 9:05. Was pleased with his skill and diagnosis. My x-ray was done right away and I was out of the office by 9:35. It doesn't get any better than that!

I had experienced some severe back pain after walking without my walker- over 2 miles. The pain was excruciating. On the 3rd night, I spoke to the on/call doctor who was very kind and told me to take ex str Tylenol right away and again at 6am. Also to double up on my anti inflammatory medication. I felt safe and cared for. Then when Dr. Hudgins followed up with me in a couple of days, that also made me fell cared for.
