Preparing for surgery can feel overwhelming, but you're not alone. We're here to provide you with the information and resources you need. In the days leading up to your surgery, you'll be scheduled for a one-on-one pre-admission testing and education session. At this visit, you'll have all necessary pre-operative testing done and meet some of the team members who will care for you after your surgery.
We want you to feel prepared and supported every step of the way. During your pre-operative testing at Edward or Elmhurst Hospital, you’ll receive a guidebook that explains what to expect before, during, and after your procedure.
