In particular, the focus of my health management has cycled around the triad of 1) blood pressure\/fitness, 2) cholesterol mitigation\/weight, and 3) A1C\/glucose\/pre-diabetes management. So each day I am aware of how my lifestyle affects these health parameters. For the past 6-months, I've been working on my physical fitness and blood pressure. This current check-up with Dr. Drexler verified that I've made great improvements in B\/P, fitness (stairs\/mobility), lung function, and mental acuity. Now I have to work on weight loss. But since my general fitness has improved, my gym\/exercise duration can lengthen, hopefully reducing my weight before my next examination. Also, all my vaccinations are current along with my other wellness checks like eye, hearing, neurological, and dermatology examinations. These are all part of my comprehensive care through Dr. Drexler. The upshot is that I do not amass massive and unnecessary medical-care expenditures. Across my health spectrum, Endeavor has provided superb, cost-effective care for me; I don't think it could be any better. So I'm trying to be a good partner in my own health management. Overall, Dr. Drexler has kept me healthy for the last 30 years. We're on a five year plan to maintain my geriatric health in: 1) Blood pressure and exercise, 2) Cholesterol's and cardiac health, and 3) A1C and glucose control. I can certainly see the progress of my ongoing healthcare adjustments. Dr. Drexler is a good explainer, so I have a clear understanding of my health-management elements. All my physician-visits reports coordinate through Dr. Drexler, so my care is centralized-which is the predominant reason I regard my Endeavor care as world class. My twice-yearly visits with Dr. Drexler are comprehensive. Yet, if I have any interim questions or need prescription renewals, I can readily contact him through North Shore Connect-he is quite responsive. This visit I received the latest pneumonia vaccine, so he effectively uses the EPIC system to coordinate all aspects of my care. Overall, I couldn't receive better, more-effective healthcare anywhere else than through Endeavor.
