Due to a concern with some pre op tests it became necessary to cancel a surgery date. I had a scheduled appointment and wasn't sure If I should keep it. Dr OCampo's staff suggested I keep the appointment and discuss my concerns with her. Very wise advice on their part. I met with the doctor and she answered all my questions and I left very relieved and ready to continue this journey. She and her staff have my high praise!

I highly recommend Dr. Ocampo! For the first time, I truly feel like I've been heard and that my concerns and the issues I've been experiencing are being taken seriously. She has ordered the testing I need and has been very responsive whenever I've had questions, concerns, or new issues come up. I really appreciate how attentive and caring she has been throughout the process. I'm so glad I found her!

The attention, empathy, and cordiality of the staff that worked with me during my first appointment were exactly what I have been looking for since I started my search for a new provider (after a very dismissive and disrespectful experienced with the gynecologist I went to last year). Dr. Ocampo and her nurse' practiced active listening skills that made me feel safe and understood from the start. Their approach and way of addressing my concerns and preferences showed cultural competence and a high level of professionalism.
