Six months ago, I made an appointment to consult a specialist/dermatologist. At the last minute, I received a call telling me of an earlier appointment slot opening with the dermatologist. Dr Jabbar is the best doctor I've ever had. And I am 73! He is genuinely caring, calm, bright, helpful, intelligent, respectful and the absolute best diagnostician I've ever known because of his vast knowledge, listening skills and genuine concern. He knows who you are, you are not just a number. He remembers what issues you've had in the past. He puts medical puzzle pieces of symptoms together and isn't intimidated by complexities. He knows exactly what it could be, and he creates a plan. He verbally describes so that I the patient understand completely. He speaks to the always professional, caring and bright [...], who types into the computer as he is speaking to me the patient. I am comfortingly aware that every detail is heard, included on the computer notes and clearly, then given to me In writing after a thorough understandable in office explanation by Dr. Absolutely everything he has ever diagnosed and prescribed has worked beyond what I could have hoped for including a two times when Dr Jabbar saved me from extreme discomfort when 5 other specialists had trouble diagnosing me. Yes 5. Where needed, he made suggestions about other drs I could see to be sure all bases are covered. He and [...] even see to it somehow that I receive a call from the other NHC physician group he had recommended. He wants to be sure there is follow up. If I could clone Dr. Jabbar and make him my PCP and every other specialist that I have, and I have quite a few, I would be so much healthier and spend so much less time trying to be diagnosed and properly prescribed safe, helpful solutions. This doctor is someone we trust and can count on for help. Medical care has changed so much over the years, so having a physician like Dr. Jabbar is a gift.
