It sometimes difficult to get an appoinment, as appontments fill up quickly. Sometimes I am told that I have to wait 30 days for the next available apptment. Although the nurse practtioner and other Doctor's are offered as an option, sometimes I want to see MY primary doctor. She does, however, make time to see me if it is an emergency situation or I specify that I would prefer to see her.
