Alex Behar, MD, a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician specializing in sports medicine at Endeavor Health, helps patients recover from injury and return to the activities they love. My endeavor is to be able to give patients the best care possible and make sure that they feel comfortable with the plan that we have outlined together as one unit.

I treat patients to get them back to their functional baseline and be independent in the activities they love to do — whether that’s playing basketball, playing golf or walking around the block with family. I believe the most holistic approach is the best way to treat them.

We are still exploring options, so my experience with this provider is not yet complete. Though he listened to me, and was very good about making sure I understood him-he did decide within a couple of minutes what my absolute diagnosis was. Without considering my input. He used it only to support his diagnosis. However, he does know a great deal, and was very careful to make sure he explained the scans and his reading of them. So: the jury is still out!

In my almost 62 yrs old & Dr Behar is the BEST doctor I've ever had. He listens, cares and explains things thoroughly. I have many skeletal problems and he always does the right things to help me. If I could I'd refer the world to him. I'm usually a chicken with doctors but he's very compassionate and tells you step by step what he's doing.

Dr. Behar is a wonderfully knowledgable and personable doctor. I like that he often performs a procedure to improve mobility or reduce pain during the first appointment, right after you describe your symptoms and he diagnoses the problem. At other times, he refers you for diagnostic imaging and then provides detailed explanations of the findings and his recommended treatment plan in a follow-up appointment.
