About Alexander Glaser, MD
Alexander Glaser, MD, a urologist and Vice Chief of Urology at Endeavor Health, specializes in endourology and the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). He uses advanced techniques including Aquablation and robotic-assisted surgery to provide precise, minimally invasive care. An NIH-funded surgeon-scientist and investigator with the LURN network, Dr. Glaser leads two R01 grants in BPH research. As Director of Urology Research and a clinical associate professor at the University of Chicago, he works to advance surgical innovation and improve outcomes for patients with urologic conditions.

I switched my care from another Urologist to Dr. Glaser because my former provider was not a very good explainer or communicator, and difficult to reach in a crisis. Dr. Glaser is a godsend. As a new patient, I found he had really studies my medical history before our first appointment, so he could address my questions right away. He is a terrific explainer and communicator. He detected patterns that previous providers had missed, and together we plotted a plan of action in a way that buoyed my flagging spirits.

Dr Glaser was vey nice. Unfortunately he didn't mention a blood draw that he wanted me to have after the urine collection test. This caused me some confusion. I had the draw done immediately, 2 weeks too soon. I did feel like he wasn't just looking at my kidney stone surgery(s) but was looking at my entire urological health.
