Amanda Leyh, APN-CNP, a urology advanced practice nurse at Endeavor Health, cares for patients across a wide range of urologic conditions, from acute issues to chronic and sensitive concerns. With a strong foundation in bedside care and inspiration from mentors in nursing and medicine, she brings a patient-centered approach to the outpatient setting. Amanda helps patients feel comfortable discussing difficult topics, aiming to empower them with the information and support they need to manage their health and avoid unnecessary hospitalizations.

My endeavor is to try and keep my patients as happy and healthy as possible, making sure that they have the knowledge that they need to feel empowered to take charge of their health, and ultimately just help improve their overall quality of life.

I treat people with kindness, respect and compassion. I want my patients to feel heard and never rushed when they come to see me. It’s important that we take the time to review everything together and work as a team to come up with the safest and most appropriate treatment plan.

She was 40 minutes late and no one ever came in to tell me besides initially saying she was a couple minutes behind but I was early so I understood. But, she took her time with me and was probably the most thorough a dr has ever been so I appreciate that. I will take her being late to get that kind of dialogue.
