Dr. Zucker had been on my radar from 2018 when I was in ICU and he figured out why I was having issues with feeling as if I would pass out. He had me taken from a room to ICU where I would be easier to treat If something went wrong and he continued to work on my problem until he discovered that it was due to two medications that were not working well together. He removed me from one of them and I've not had any recurrence of such issues. I was not able to make an appointment with him when my then cardiologist retired but I did get into the NorthShore Skokie Hospital system with a different cardiologist and when he was retiring, I was able to become one of Dr. Zucker's patients. I have never regretted that choice. He has always been upfront about my medical Issues and, in my opinion, has often gone overboard with due diligence. He is pleasant, concerned, communicative, informative, exceptionally thorough, explains everything using terminology I can understand and suggesting alternatives, procedures, goals and recommending doctors in other departments when necessary. He covers everything with me so that I know where I am and where I stand with whatever it is that I have. And he is open to hearing from me if I have questions about anything. I have not ever had that kind of medical service afforded to me by any other cardiologist. In my humble opinion, he IS TERRIFIC. A real GEM.

Dr. Zucker was not aware of my situation even though I have been his patient since 2018. He spent much of our time reading the computer and typing his notes. Also, I was not able to make a follow-up appointment (6 months) as there was no available time within the window prescribed by the doctor. I am still waiting for a call from scheduling.
