Dr. Buccellato was terrific. I was initially concerned about seeing a male doctor, so many of my female friends say they aren't as sympathetic towards perimenopausal issues and needs. But I found that far from the case with Dr. Buccellato. He gave me plenty of attention and time and seems to genuinely care about the care he offers. This is so refreshing and appreciated. I'm happy to share this experience with my friends, to help dispel heavy stigma associated with male obstetricians/gynecologists.

Dr. Buccellato is exactly the type of physician I value the most: thorough and thoughtful, good listener, and very knowledgeable. He is a physician who doesn't dismiss patient's concerns, but rather examines them, looks for solutions, and provides reassurance when needed. I also appreciate his holistic approach to the women health and wellbeing, I found him often offering suggestions and information on things like best lifestyle/ dietary practices or other topics that can effect women health.

Dr. Buccelatto delivered two of my babies and I wish he had delivered all three. Years ago when I was first looking for a new OBGYN I specifically asked for a female. I think that is a very common request for most. The front desk offered Dr. Buccelatto, but stated that he is a male. At first I was quick to say no, but they said I was going to love him. I am so grateful that I landed on this admin assistant that day and trusted her, because I wouldn't change a thing about him. I have never been met with so much compassion, patience, quality care, and amazing bedside manner. Coming from someone who had experienced sexual abuse, this says a lot. He truly loves his job and it shows everytime I see him. He cares about mothers and women and the care that they deserve. Recently I have not seen him in a few years and was due for a pap smear and he immediately started the appointment validating that mothers do not get the opportunity to take care of themselves, so this appointment was going to be about me and anything that I needed. He took the time to listen to everything and address all concerns. He is the most thorough and personable Dr. I have ever experienced and I wish I could go to him for all medical issues.
