Dr. Kaitis has a wonderful manner with his patients he totally listens to questions asks if the answers are understood talks about what (I) the patient would more than likely expect always asks if I have any or more questions asks how my holidays have been resales about my eyes .. Let's me know how great my vision is etc. I always leave knowing The Who-what-and where of my eyes the young lady who initially took my info put drops in my eyes.. And gave me an exam of sorts was very professional.. Polite and kind don't loose her!!!!

The optician was friendly and efficient. I truly appreciate Dr. Kaitis, both for his thorough care and for his flexibility and willingness to go beyond the minimum. Specifically, he agreed to see me again in six months to measure any growth in my cataracts, since the glasses Rx provided for me could not be made any stronger, and I might still have difficulty seeing and reading, even with new glasses. He was thoroughly professional; he was also friendly, which made the appointment even better.

I was very appreciative that I was able to get an appointment - everyone's kindness and patience with me while I navigated new health care insurance and an unexpected eye injury was really meaningful to me and so appreciated. I feel like I walked into my appointment feeling very frazzled and concerned, and I left feeling very well taken cared for and much calmer. The doctor was unfriendly, unprofessional and shockingly rude. He criticized me throughout the exam by telling me that I was not cooperating with his Instructions to me as to how to place my head and body for him to examine my eyes. He made me very nervous and anxious and made me question whether his examination of me was thorough and honest or whether he skimped on my exam just to end my visit. He asked some questions and made some unnecessary comments about my health that were totally unrelated to my eyes. I felt that he criticized my Issues rather than pointing out out positives about my health.

Dr. Kaitis has always been pleasant-until you're five minutes late. Then, somehow, it becomes acceptable to make you wait over an hour and a half to be seen. Today, after my mother and I had already been waiting in the exam room for a long time, I politely asked the nurse when she might be seen. Instead of an update, the doctor walked in with zero bedside manner and told my mother the delay was our fault.According to him, being five minutes late means you're pushed to the bottom of the list, and he'll see you "whenever he can." He emphasized he only allots 15 minutes per patient, as if every pre-exam runs exactly on time and patients never wait past their scheduled appointment. So, moving forward, we've apparently learned our lesson: be exactly on time-because his time matters more than basic respect or decency toward patients.

I thought there would be a series of questions about Dr Kaitis himself, but apparentky there's not.So I want to emphasize here that he is a superb doctor in every respect. He is the first doctor who was able to explain to me - clearly and concisely - two things that I had been confused about for several years. He is knowledgeable, friendly, welcoming, and attentive. He sent me to see a specialist to check out one issue, and followed up on it himself. I am very grateful to have found Dr Kaitis, and recommend him to everybody.
