Dawen Zhang, MD, a rheumatology specialist at Endeavor Health, diagnoses and treats autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions including gout, lupus, osteoarthritis and psoriatic arthritis. Most importantly, besides his expertise in Rheumatology, he has treated me as a person and not just as one more number.He feels the physical and emotional pain that comes from chronic diseases like all auto immune diseases. He discusses both these aspects as he treats me . I know it helps me tremendously when I realize that my doctor believes me when I share my symptoms with him. Many years ago in a [...] Clinic health letter it was noted for patients to find a Rheumatologist who has certain qualities. I wrote to them to find me one. Of course I never heard from them.More than a decade later I found one in SC and now here in Edward medical group. My daughter recommended him to me.Knowing that your doctor cares means a lot to a patient.
