A bit abrupt, could spend some time explaining thought process for people not in the medical field. His explanation made sense to me, but my husband was felt like all our concerns were blown out the door and he just didnt want to deal with us because he didn't understand the explanation. Even after explaining what the Dr said in layman's terms his dislike persists due to poor bedside manner.

I was in and out in under an hour including an x-ray. Doctor checked my range of motion and confirmed that allowing additional time to heal before trying a shot as used on my other shoulder. Very easy to talk to and discuss the issue

Pain: it is debilitating, confusing, and frustrating. Often the source may be difficult to pinpoint while the symptoms can be diffuse. It is my belief that those who choose to specialize in pain management face some of the most difficult medical challenges. Given the difficulty of managing pain, and given that sometimes the answer is time rather than specific treatments or procedures, I suspect that the level of appreciation for pain management physicians is not high. Which brings me to Dr. Kannankeril. He has worked with my pain issues for almost a year. He has consistently sought to identify the root causes of my pain even as the symptoms presented in a variety of ways and sites. He correctly let time do some of the work rather than rushing to procedures that might or might not hit the mark. He explained every action he recommended but left the final decisions to me. His honesty, integrity and respect for his patients is obvious. We are still working together to deal with my pain issues. I wish they were solved. But Dr. Kannankeril is not a magician. For my part, I have complete trust in his professional knowledge and skills and his commitment to finding a solution.

Dr K was a game changer - I had incredible pain when I met with him, and his ability to communicate about what I was going through was incredible. He used easy to understand analogies and was able to put my mind at ease through his logical but sensible approach. I left his office with a solid understanding for what I was going thru, but also for what was ahead of me. This sense of order had been lacking previously, and eliminated a great deal of stress and anxiety about the situation as a whole. I am thankful and appreciative of Dr K.

So far so good it's up to me to do my part to make the doctors wishes and advice come come true. I am in charge of myself and I have no family except one sister and this is my journey through my health crisis. I look forward to looking endeavor for more help, but I am going to follow the doctors advice, I have 6 to 8 weeks of therapy. I have the work orders and everything thank you very much endeavor health.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Kannankeril. He's an excellent listener, very thorough, kind & professional. I had previously not had the best experience with urgent care, and Dr. Kannankeril took the time to explain everything on my medical images and answer a long list of questions I had brought with me. I left with a care plan & felt very reassured. Very grateful to have a new doctor who is so compassionate & thoughtful about explaining everything.

It seemed as if he was trying to belittle my pain and tell me how I should feel , I felt antagonized when I had to explain over and over where my shooting pain were coming from. I wasn't feeling reassured, and I am not sure if he was having a bad day but despite that you are supposed to be the professional so therefore I shouldn't be presented with an attitude. I enjoyed the very nice nurse so that is why I'd give my overall experience 3/10 if it weren't for that doctor rubbing me the wrong way I'd give them 10/10. I definitely won't be following up with him in the future nor recommend him to any future patients.
