Dr. Silver and her staff have been both technically competent and very caring providers. Dr. Silver called me at home a day or two after I arrived at home after my surgery to check on my condition. She has been very good at providing me with direction. I am very pleased with how well she performed my surgery based on my quick recovery. Her staff always responded to my calls and NorthShore Connect msgs to answer my questions, respond to my concerns (blood In urine, passing blood clots, ), and provide me with direction.

Dr Silver was great I have lots of medical issues. She had obviously read tge pertinent parts of my chart so I didn't have to detail a lot of background. She cut to the chase and gave me the info and recommendations that I needed. She is very personable and knowlegeable. Although I may not need to see her again, I'm glad she is on my medical team.

Dr. Silver strikes a good balance between acting authoritative while showing there is always some uncertainty. As a consequence of this visit, I am now being treated for gout (based on elevated uric acid levels). There were certain test results not consistent with this diagnosis, but she completely explained her reasoning.
