Honestly I was not happy with my provider, he was in a rush to end my consultation with him asap. He just came to tell me I needed surgery and soon. No empathy just made it sound it was that simple.

I was called that there was an earlier time slot, which worked out well for me. The check in process was smooth, and I only waited around 5 minutes in the waiting room. The medical assistant was efficient for the interview. The physician came promptly after the check in process. He reviewed the xray and discussed the options for surgery vs physical therapy.

One thing I appreciated about Dr. Piponov was his addressing me with my title and my surname rather than the Hello [...], I'm Dr. Smith I hear from all the rest of the doctors. Reducing the patient to a lower status upon first meeting is not a good way to empower your patients.

Since I completed new patient forms with my medical status, plus all the information on my Endeavor chart, I should have been informed that the steroid injection raises blood sugar. Instead, I had to read this is the paperwork handed to me during the appointment, after experiencing a rise in glucose.
