Dr Green is clearly a very knowledgeable and intelligent physician which is why I have continued to see him. However he has a serious aversion to even a little small talk and seems unaware that a bit of empathy or reassuring explanation of your condition might be helpful. He listens in silence, nods, takes notes, asks a few questions, gives you a one sentence summary of his suggestions, and moves on. He is also a "stay in your lane" doctor. I feel that he thoroughly manages the rheumatological part of my illness, but is not good at talking about or helping me understand the interconnected nature of different conditions. Most autoimmune patients need a little help understanding how their disease affects different body systems.

To be honest, I don't know enough about this rheumatologist to say I would pass his information on. He told me that I don't Have rheumatoid arthritis and that was good enough for me that's all I need.
