I frequently have several unrelated questions each time I see Dr. Ebihara. He remembers them all, and brings them up, either as he goes through his examination, or brings them up at the end -- even when I myself may have forgotten them. Also, when he mentions a to-do activity for me -- even when It sounds trivial to me -- he always includes every one in the post-visit summary. Finally, without being asked, he frequently includes in the post-visit summary a few paragraphs of explanatory, procedural, and / or background information. Oh, and one more thing: he always has a recommendation regarding any health issue I may have, either a specific curative action I should take, or a referral of another physician I should see, or test I should have.

I had been a patient of Dr. Ebihara for many years, yet left to see a doctor w/another medical group who I had heard was very good at helping patients w/Long Covid issues. I obviously heard wrong. I made the best decision to return to Dr. Ebihara . He is straightforward with his comments, is very knowledgeable, and spends time w/his patients. I never felt hurried and I can tell he cares about the people he is helping. My visit and interaction with my PCP was good. But, when the nurse asked me pertinent questions I could not understand her as she was speaking too fast for me. I asked her if she could slow down. She stated that I should not worry about it because my doctor will review these questions with me. I felt that me being there as a patient was getting in the way of her work responsibilities.
