Overall what strikes me most about my experience both with Dr. Pomerantz and the entire surgical team at Highland Park Hospital is how safe I felt. Dr. Pomerantz was "present" every time I saw him. His listening skills, patience, kindness, willingness to answer every question I had, and clarity in speaking and responding to me set the stage for me to move through the process with trust and confidence. The surgical team at Highland Park rounded out the sense of safety I felt both before the procedure and after it. Thank you Dr. Pomerantz and the various services I received from surgical staff at Highland Park Hospital.

Dr Pomerantz arrived late due to bad weather but staff had informed me this was the case. When he did arrive to see me he was very centered and patient during his assessment time with me. He answered the questions I was able to think of. I felt that he genuinely cared about my concerns.

It was impossible to get on the doctor's schedule on my own. That said, I had someone from the surgical team working with me step in to help, at which point it was super easy. Dr. Pomerantz was wonderful - he helped me understand what was going on with my larynx and I truly benefitted from seeing him when I did.

Dr Pomerantz is an outstanding ENT, very knowledgeable, careful and responsive. He diagnosed my medical problem which has been going on since last Spring, and which other doctors did not correctly diagnosis. The meds he prescribed started helping within one day, although it will take weeks for the meds to end the condition.
