As someone that used to avoid going to the doctor because of receiving poor care or little interest or no kindness, Dr. Max has reshaped my expectations. She is the best doctor I've ever had. For typical physicals, after reviewing the results, Dr. Max offers a plan to address any found issues. For appointments around specific issues, she listens to the issue, asks related questions to restate what she heard, and then offer a sensible plan. Dr. Max does not coddle or talk down, rather she is straight-forward and honest. She will give you the best guidance, and then, as a patient, you still need to do your part. If you don't, it will be addressed because this doctor is actually trying to help you. So you better listen and do what you need to do and you will reap the benefits. When medicine is not working or you just aren't feeling any better, Dr. Max will keep working with you to figure it out.. Highly recommend this doctor!

When I had questions about the frequency of mammogram screenings, she thoroughly discussed the pros and cons of more frequent screenings with me. So glad I found this office and Dr. Maxouris. The office staff are very professional and seem kind, plus they work with me to schedule appropriately if I need follow-up care. Since the move to this office, It Is rare to experience long wait times which is very helpful when taking time off of work. Dr. Maxouris is probably the best doctor I've ever had. She listens to me regarding my issues and then makes appropriate recommendations, erring on the side of caution. This methodology makes more sense to me than over prescribing. She is capable of offering the tough love suggestions without making me feel bad about myself.

Dr Maxouris is by far the best medical propressional I have and continue to have. Her compassion to listen to the person and not just the symptoms set her apart. The quality of care from Dr Kate Maxouris has dramatically declined over the past 8 years since coming to your practice. No questions were asked about my wellbeing, daily habits, changes in diet/exercise/etc. No exams were done - aside from taking my oxygen and blood pressure. It seems there is no longer any value to having an annual checkin and that preventative care is a thing of the past.
