Excellent care provided by PA Hornaday

My care provider did not comprehend an EKG result, she told me the wrong diagnosis then made me get and emergency appointment at a cardiologist for a medical release. So I did andthe cardiologist said my EKG was perfectly fine and there was no reason to have had to have an office visit, and that the PA only read the computer interpretation and did actually read the EKG or she would have seen it was fine. My care provider also refused to release labs in EPIC to another hospital, and said she required all labs to be done within 30 days even though the hospital doing the surgery said 6mo ts per their anesthesiologist. So I had labs redrawn under her order so she could release them. After all this she then said she also needed a release from my nephrologist before she woul ok me to have surgery, since he was currently out of town it took days to get ahold of him. He then questioned what was he reasoning and that there was no reason that she had to what for him to release me. I had the worst experience with something that should have been so simple. I would never recommend anyone seeing this PA.

I currently don't have a doctor since my last doctor left Endeavor. The doctor I got as a walk-in was very thorough and ordered tests to rule out a serious problem. Even though I had to go to the hospital for the test, it was worth it. She also followed up with the results of my bloodwork and ordered a repeat test because of a possible concern from my first bloodwork. Excellent job!

The team vas especially helpful in locating an area ophthalmologist for me since I needed a specialist's care. They were able to get me an appointment within a couple hours. So much appreciated since I was experiencing considerable pain which wound up being a scratched cornea.
