She didn't care about current pain in my knee.She didn't bother to do blood work since my chemo therapies have changed so many tests abnormal. She didn't talk about what to do about it. I had complete exam in Oct last year & my cancer was spreading at that time. She didn't detect that at all.

Dr LaFave is like an old-fashioned MF - she listens and cares about her patients. She answers all questions. She gives excellent medical advice. She communications promptly via email and will even call you if requested. I like that she contacts you via phone to discuss lab results. Sometimes there are questions and NorthShore Connect limits communication with your MD - re: number of characters for typing it allows.

I don't feel rushed when going through my medications, past tests, past procedures and, upcoming procedures.
